The Electronics Technicians Association (ETA), International is a not-for-profit, professional association committed to providing accredited certifications that meet industry standards. ETA has developed over 50 technical certifications in electronics including fiber optics. Certifications for Fiber Optics and Data Cabling include: Fiber Optics Installer, Fiber Optics Technician, Fiber Optics Technician-Outside Plant, Fiber Optics Designer, and Data Cabling Installer. Today, ETA has issued nearly 40,000 fiber certifications. These certified individuals are employed by more than 840 businesses/organizations. The association is comprised of over 5,000 members, 700 Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) serving on various Industry Advisory Committees and 1,000 Exam/Certification Administrators (CA’s).

Earn BICSI CEC's
The NFOC can provide the BICSI Continuing Education Credits (CEC's) you may need toward maintaining your professional certifications. The number of CEC's available for each of the NFOC Learning Sessions that you attend will be announced soon.
BICSI CEC's are available to individuals who hold one or more BICSI certifications. By earning CEC's, individuals are able to document that they have participated in certain professional development activities during BICSI's certification renewal period.
